A Golden Playground

Image

Let it rain, let it pour
And her mind will simply soar
Across the seas of her dreams
To where a golden box gleams

They can keep her in all day
And send all her toys away
But what they don’t know is that she
Has a little golden key

For this key there is a lock
That unlocks her golden box
And as water from a glass
Flow the memories from her past

She plays them one by one
Until the rain ceases to come
And the theater of her mind
Takes a break until next time

So let it rain, and let it pour
But my mind will simply soar
Across the ocean of my dreams
To where a golden box gleams
